Karen Sanchez is a young Latina actress and recent graduate from Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting.

Born and Raised in sunny Los Angeles, Karen was on track to be an engineer when she decided to follow her passions towards a BFA. She is a highly passionate and driven individual enjoying both theatre and film. Throughout her life she has wanted to broaden the possibilities of diversity, equity, and inclusion. During her time at Syracuse she found herself in a mix of film and theatre solidifying her passion for both. Whether she was in rehearsal or on set during the weekends, she was eager to learn as much as she could. She feels incredibly lucky to have taken part of three off campus programs at Syracuse: Syracuse University Los Angeles, Shakespeare at The Globe theater in London, and the Tepper Semester in New York City.

As a passionate Artist Karen wants to work on projects that will mean something to people, being able to be a part of innovative works that uplift those that are not often seen.

Beyond acting Karen finds herself spending a majority of her time: baking, with her two corgi’s, admiring animals, trying new restaurants, travelling, or at hockey games.
